In 2012 I had the pleasure of traveling to Venice and taking a large number of images. I’ve finally got around to processing some of those images taken of Venice.
It’s a beautiful place to visit and to capture as a photographer, I’ve tried with some of the shots to be a little different in approaching each image, and I think leaving them for awhile and going back and reprocessing some of them has lent a new life to some of the photos.
A number of digital photographers seem to think that over saturation is attractive in an image and to be honest some of them look bloody awful. In returning to these images I’ve deliberately under saturated them and kept the colours subdued and I’ve converted some to black & white.
I hope you like them and I’ll be adding more to the collection as I work on each image from that trip.
Let me know what you think of them as I’d like to hear your opinion.
You can visit the collection in the gallery for the time being until I create a new gallery for the images, here’s the link for the Venice Collection.
